Contact Lenses

Whether you are considering wearing contact lenses for the first time, or if you are looking to improve your current lenses, we specialize in maximizing your comfort and vision.

We fit contact lenses for every type of person and lifestyle. We prescribe contacts for patients with astigmatism, bifocals, and dry eyes. We also specialize in hard-to-fit patients like keratoconus and other irregular corneal conditions.

We fit many patients with disposable lenses. We recommend disposables not only for their convenience, but also because they are healthy for your eyes. Daily disposable contacts, or single-use lenses, have been a great new option for many of our patients.

We also fit rigid gas permeable (RGP’s), Synergeyes, and Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) lenses.

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

What is the best lens for me?

The doctor will determine which lens design is best for you. This decision is based on several factors including: your prescription, the curvature of your eye, how dry your eyes are, your visual demands at work and play, and your lifestyle.

Will I be able to see as well as I do with my glasses?

Yes, and in many cases, you may see better with contacts than glasses. Patients enjoy increased peripheral vision and crisper vision. Patients often tell us that they see better with contacts.

If I couldn’t wear contacts before, can I wear them now?

Very few patients are unable to wear contact lenses because there are so many different types of lenses available. Technology continually improves the quality and type of lenses, so patients with astigmatism, bifocals, dry eye and irregular corneas can now wear contacts.

Are Contact Lenses healthy for my eyes?

Yes, Contact lenses are healthy when worn properly and taken care of as directed.
